PRESBYTHESPIANS

Presbythespians (try repeating that five times very quickly!) is a growing new group of intergenerational members who have an interest in ministry through acting.  They have initiated a plan to perform dramas, comedies, mysteries, sketches and improvs for our church family throughout the year and also on special occasions such as Easter and Christmas. This past Easter season, the group offered their first performance through an interactive drama about Passover, called “The Room Upstairs,” which included a Passover meal.  It was very well attended and very well received by people of all ages from our congregation and friends who said quite enthusiastically that they look forward to the next performance by the group. 

 It is the goal of the Presbythespians that most of their presentations will have a Christian message, but may occasionally be intended just to entertain.  Presbythespians hope to reach out to as many of the congregation as possible through their creative efforts of ministry.  If you have an interest in joining this group, please contact Pastor Paul at the church.
