Pastor Paul R. Tomlinson
Pastor Paul arrived at First Presbyterian Church in September of 2002 as the
Director of Spirituality & Education. He then was invited to be the Designated
Pastor in November of 2003 and pastor in November of 2005. Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree from
the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. He then attended the
University of Dubuque Theological Seminary where he received his Master
of Divinity degree. While at Dubuque, Paul met his wife Nancy. They
have three children, all of whom are married. They have one granddaughterand one grandson. Paul
recently completed a Master of Arts in Organizational Management through
Spring Arbor University. He has also completed a three-year Institute
of Spiritual Direction program.
Paul brings to the church a passion for preaching,
a love of music and a heart for people. Outside of the church you might
find Paul working around the house, singing, playing on the church
softball team and rooting
for the Green Bay Packers and the Michigan Wolverines.
