Summer Schedule

We are excited to announce that d we will be having two worship services.  In addition to our regular 10:30 service (see below) we will be having a service at 8:30 in the morning.

This service will be held in the fellowship hall while sitting around the tables.  This will be a less formal service with both hymns and contemporary music being sung with CD accompaniements.  Coffee and juice will be served as people arrive.  The message will utilize powerpoint presentations and may involve interactive discussion with the congregation.  Communion will be served each Sunday at this 8:30 service.  The service will last from 8:30 until approximately 9:15.

This early service gives people an opportunity for an alternate style of worship and also allows for an earlier time so families can gather for worship prior to other plans for the day.

Worship and Praise

 In our worship we use a combination of rich tradition and creative worship energy.  Our historic sanctuary with beautiful stained-glass windows provides a beautiful setting for worshiping the majesty of our creator. 

Our worship service is held at 10:30 on Sunday mornings.  In this service we sing a mix of traditional hymns with some contemporary hymns mixed in.  Nursery care is provided during this service and 3 year olds through 12th graders  are dismissed from worship following the Children’s message for Sunday School classes. 

During our worship services we involve members of the congregation in leadership as we strive to lift our voices to God in praise, listen to God’s Word to receive a message that will assist us in living our everyday lives.  We also have a children’s message for our children and youth.

We also have a quarterly service of prayer and healing on a Thursday evening.  This service includes quiet meditative music and a time for prayer for personal healing.  For information on the scheduling of these services contact the church office, or look at our monthly calendar.
