CALL TO WORSHIP
One: From God comes my salvation.
All: For God alone my soul waits in silence.
One: God alone is my rock and my salvation.
All: God is my fortress; I shall never be shaken.
*HYMN #35 “Praise Ye The Lord”
WE CONFESS OUR NEED
*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Forgiving God, we repent of all the ways we turn from you.
You call, but we do not listen; you show us your path, but we prefer our own way. Forgive us, heal us, and lead us back to you, that we might show mercy to others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
*ASSURANCE OF PARDON
One: Hear the Word of God, the Word of grace and mercy. Believe this wondrous Good News:
All: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Thanks be to God.
One: We have received peace with God through Jesus Christ. Therefore, let us turn to those around us and greet one another in the peace of Christ.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
